The Aston Martin One-77 might cost a pretty penny, but there are those out there that won’t be bothered with a price tag of $1.87 million. It seems that there are 60 people in fact, as that’s how many have been sold out of the 77 that Aston are planning on creating.
The One-77 is based on the same principles of the VH platform that one would find on the DB9, DBS and the other models in the Aston range. That being said, the extravagant supercar has about as much in common with the rest of the range as a diamond to cubic zirconia.
The body is mostly carbon fiber with large quantities of aluminum. Living under the hood is a 750-horsepower V-12 motor that will make the windows of London rattle as it passes by.
Despite the stunning looks and monster power, there are still 17 for sale. It also seems that most buyers are checking the box next to the $30,000 Cygnet option, giving them their own copy of Aston’s small Toyota iQ-based city car to use for town errands.
So, if somebody happens to have an extra $1.87 million lying around, the One-77 is calling.
