This video will hurt Mustang lovers--with the possible exception of those who REALLY love fire. On the other hand, I can hear Camaro fan-boys snickering.

This particular 2008 Shelby GT500 was dubbed "Blue Diamond" by its owner, and thanks to a bunch of modifications, including a supercharger boosted to 24 psi, it was making around 800 horsepower. I say was, not is, because it detonated in spectacular fashion while on a dynamometer.

Thanks to Jalopnik, we have the video, and it gets ugly about twenty seconds in. Anyone like fried Mustang?
