Straight out of the box the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG is already one of the sportiest models in the German automaker’s lineup, but the car’s heady output of 571 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque was never going to satisfy the guys at Kicherer.

Applying lessons learned from its previous modified Mercs, the tuner has upgraded the 6.2-liter V-8 engine to the tune of 601 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque, lifting performance of the SLS AMG into true supercar territory.

What better way to present the car than with a photo shoot accompanied by a beautiful model. These shots were taken by renowned photographer Frank Luger, who presents his vision of the new car, now dubbed the Kicherer SLS 63 Supersport.

To ensure the car’s beautiful nose isn’t scraped all over town, Kicherer has installed a lift kit that can raise the chassis of the car some 1.2 inches at the push of a button. Other modifications include the tuner’s RS-1 forged alloy wheels, high-flow stainless steel exhaust, and a custom front lip spoiler, rear diffuser and interior decorative parts all finished in carbon fiber.
