We've spied the next version of Mercedes-Benz's hottest four-door coupe several times already, but today the wait is over to see beneath the camo to the real thing. Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the 2012 CLS63 AMG live at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Despite hanging onto the "63" nomenclature like the rest of the updated AMG lineup, the 2012 CLS63 AMG gets the same 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-8 as its brethren. With the optional AMG Performance package, the sleek four-door coupe churns out a CTS-V-like 550 horsepower.

Like its AMG stablemates, the 2012 CLS63 AMG should make production early in 2011 with retail starting in the spring.

    why cl63 amg has more power than cls 63 amg even if its the same engine ???
