Of all the races you’ve ever dreamed of watching, most of them probably featured a fast, low-slung, open-wheeled race car (probably built in somebody’s shed) pulling up alongside the latest product from a renowned manufacturer. And that’s exactly what you’ll see in this this newest marketing video: a small upstart car manufacturer against an established brand. Except that the large brand is Epson. Yes, the printer company.

In their latest marketing stunt, Epson has challenged the Ariel Atom 3 to a race around Rockingham Motor Speedway. The challenge: Can Epson’s new wifi enabled Inkjet printer print a scale replica of the track faster than the Atom 3 drive around it. Oh, and the printer is riding shotgun for the feat.

The Atom, a street-legal go-kart-like vehicle built in Britain, makes for the perfect weekend toy. With a starting price of $49,980, the Ariel is powered by a four-cylinder Honda engine that puts out either 200, 245, or 300 horsepower depending on the trim level. Given that the open-wheeled vehicle only weighs 1,340 pounds, that means that no matter which scenario you choose, you’ll get a power-to-weight comparable to some of today’s fastest sports cars. Add that to the fact that Ariel has just announced that they are coming out with a 500 horsepower V-8 model, and you’ll soon be able to get a higher power-to-weight ratio than a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport for a fraction of the price.
