2011 Dodge Charger

The 2011 Dodge Charger microsite just went live a few minutes ago. In addition to the photos of the car above, the website offers a chance to sign up for email updates and to share the page on Facebook and Twitter.

Beyond that, the site doesn't look to be doing much. The 2011 Charger R/T in the photos looks like it's ready for business. The R/T model is likely to get the same 5.7-liter HEMI engine found in the current Charger R/T, though it may get a small bump to the 380-horsepower range. The one we're on the lookout for, the SRT8, is expected to get an upgrade to a 6.4-liter HEMI with 475 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

The one shot of the interior shows little beyond the seat bottoms and a glimpse of the center console, though from what we can see, it looks a lot like the current Charger's interior.

For more on what to expect from the 2011 Dodge Charger, check out our spy shot coverage.

  1. I personally say Dodge needs to take the front and rear ends and make it look more like a '68, '69, or '70 Charger. Make it look more like the muscle car it was, much like the same way as Ford did with the Mustang, Chevy did with the Camero, or even Dodge itself did with the Challenger. You don't know where you're going until you know where you've been.

  2. Listen my question is why isn't the Hemi blowing the doors off the Mustang and the Camero. And I watch NASCAR the performance is off whats DODGE going to do and whats going to happen with the HEMI?

  4. NASCAR will not allow Dodge to run the HEMI because, as it did 40 years ago, it would make the Chevy and Ford teams losers week in and week out.
NASCAR has, does and will likely continue to favor Chevy and Ford with it's rules and fears Chrysler dominance like poison.
The Challenger IS blowing away Mustang and that ugly Impala in Nationwide competition. Don't worry, NASCAR will change the rules, again...

  5. after reaing the comments by bill burke, I now see why Richar Petty was winning all those races. He was riving the426 Hemi. i hope you're right when you sai that NASCAR will once again be kin to the Hemi an let them back in.The Fors & Chevys will get beat every time.
