Paris Envy: Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept

Who cares about all these concept cars anyways? Why should college kids be jealous that a bunch of cars that aren't scheduled for production are being shown in Paris?

To put it plainly, concept cars are the future. Especially in Audi's case, as they tend to put a decent number of concept cars into production.

With Lamborgini and their pver-teased Sesto Elemento concept, there are lots of things to be envious about.

First off, this is how Lamborginis should look. The Reventon was a step towards the futuristic and borderline ridiculous design that helped make Lamborgini famous. This is more of the same, just on a Gallardo instead. Did I mention this is way better looking then the Reventon?

Another reason college kids should be envious of the French is because of the promises this car is making. Its name literally translates to "sixth element." Since you probably hated chemistry class, I'll remind you that element number six is carbon. This car is almost entirely made of carbon-fiber reinforced materials. That means it's light and strong. That's all old news to anyone who knows about carbon fiber. What really makes me jealous, is that everyone over in Paris can see the intricate weave of the material, and the artful ways that Lamborghini has shaped it into that wild body.

In essence, staring at the weave is like staring into the future of Lamborghini. That is an opportunity we all wish we could have.
