USAA iPhone app
Apple's launch of
the iPhone 4 has seen the greatest excitement for a new phone
ever. With a super-high resolution
screen, ridiculously slim
dimensions,
HD videos and
100 percent features, it is not hard to see
why.
Apple's
iPhone 4 gets you accurate maps when you need
them. Lets say you are in an
unfamiliar locality looking for a nearby
restaurant. Using your
iPhone, you can pinpoint your location on the map to figure out how to get there from where you
are. Using a combination of
Wi-Fi, GPS and cellular
towers, the iPhone 4 finds you the location accurately and
quickly. As and when you
progress, moving to another
place, the iPhone updates the location
automatically. Users can even drop a pin to mark their location and share it with their friends via email or
MMS.
In case you need to find the nearest cafe
shop, the iPhone has got the
answer. Simply type in “coffee” in the search field of the map and the iPhone is already displaying nearby coffee houses represented by
pins. Searching works fine--even entering business names and specific
addresses. As soon as you find what you were looking
for, simply tap the pin to pop up more information like web
addresses, phone numbers and more.
Maps look amazingly crisp and detailed on the high resolution Retina display of the iPhone
4. Users can switch between satellite
view, map view and
hybrid view and can even see a street view of a particular
address. Double tap or simply pinch to zoom in and out of the
map. Traffic information on the iPhone indicates traffic speed in easy to
read yellow, green and red highlights along your
route.
With the iPhone's GPS, users can view a list of turn by turn directions, follow highlighted map route and track your progress. The best part is that user's with the public transit directions, can see at what time the next bus or train leaves. Know where you are and which way you are looking using the built in digital compass that rotates on the onscreen map to match the direction the user is facing.
The features of Apple iPhone 4 does not stop with this, it has got lot more to amaze its users. As far as Sat Nav is
concerned, users could blindly opt getting an iPhone for its accuracy and user friendly
aspects.
