In the short time that the new 2010 Ferrari 458 Italia has been on sale we’ve already managed to see at least one crashed example and hear about two other causalities, as well as see an additional two examples go up in flames. Now, we have a video showing yet another 458 Italia suffering from the affects of a momentary lapse of concentration on behalf of its driver.

In this case, the car was just one day old and actually crashed on a street just outside Ferrari’s factory in Maranello, Italy. Sadly, the damage looks severe although everything rear of the windshield, including the engine, appears to be unharmed.

Looking at the video, it appears as though the cause of the accident was reckless speeding along the narrow streets surrounding the Ferrari factory. It also appears that nobody was hurt in the accident except maybe the driver’s ego.

Enjoy the video below.

  1. Call me overly suspicious, but that doesn't look the driver just swerved to avoid something. The car is absolutely aligned to hit the tree. I suspect insurance fraud, although how this would benefit someone is beyond me.

  5. I was gonna say the factory should require proof of high-performance driving skill or a racing course before agreeing to sell one of these. But who am I kidding? They get paid regardless. They might even get repeat business from this bozo.
