This might be old news by todays standards but due to my technical difficulties as of late I am just getting to this and some other Mustang related news. About a week ago Jack Roush, owner of Roush Industries was attempting to land his Hawker/Beechcraft Premier 390 plane in Wisconsin at Wittman Regional Airport for the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual Air Venture convention when the plane hit nose first and crash landed splitting the plane in two.
As a result of the crash Jack Roush sustained severe facial injuries and his lone passenger suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to the hospital with Jack in serious but stable condition. His passenger has been released from the hospital but Jack has been transferred from the local hospital to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to undergo further treatment for his facial injuries. Doctors have said all along he would make a full recovery. From the photo below you can see Mr. Roush was injured pretty serious but he did walk out of the plane on his own.
Check out the photos below to see the extent of the crash. We here at MustangBlog wish Jack a speedy recovery.
