First off I want to say the folks over at
Motorbooks were kind enough to send over a copy of this book,
'Muscle Cars' by Mike Mueller for me to thumb through and give a review on. In a nutshell this automotive book features 55 of the most popular classic muscle cars from the 60's, 70's and 80's along with new vehicles like the Chevrolet Camaro,
Dodge Challenger and the Shelby GT500 Mustang. The book was written by Mike Mueller who also snapped the 350 plus color photos found inside which are unbelievable in quality. For each of the museum quality muscle cars featured in this book Mueller has written historical facts, performance and production specs along with trivia for each car.
Some of the Camaros found in this book include a 1967 Nickey Camaro, 1969 Yenko Camaro, 1969 Camaro Z/28, 1967 Camaro SS 396, 1969 Camaro ZL-1 and a 1967 Camaro Z/28.
Overall I would have to say this book is worth the $19.99 cover price it commands just for the high-quality photos and background on each of the vehicles. It was an easy read that kept my automotive juices flowing with each model I read about. I would definitely recommend this book for those who have a passion for classic muscle cars as it will not let you down and you may actually learn a few historical facts about your favorite cars. You can purchase this book from Amazon and other retail book outlets.
