The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a great looking car, and perfect for Porsche 911 buyers who dislike seeing themselves coming and going every day. Now Aston Martin is celebrating the company’s running of Nürburgring 24-hour race, using basically race-spec factory cars, with the limited N420 edition.

The N420’s powertrain is the standard Vantage affair, coming with the standard 420 horsepower V-8 and is available six speed manual or Sportshift semi automatic box. The only real change from the normal car is a new exhaust system that doesn’t increase power but increases the sound of an already amazing exhaust note.

Where the N420 differentiates itself from the rest is with the rest of the car. Aston Martin used carbon fiber on various parts of the car to help drop the weight by 60 pounds, which while not a lot is still a step in the right direction. The suspension gets the Sports Package that upgrades the Vantage’s springs, shocks and anti-roll bars to give the car better road holding. The inside gets a pair of carbon fiber racing seats to also help reduce weight, as well as the Iridium package.

The exterior gets a special treatment with a carbon fiber front splitter, side “strakes” and rear diffuser, as well as a blacked out mesh vents and graphite rear exhaust tips. To be more like the race cars, the car is available in Aston Martin Livery like Rose Yellow and British Racing Green (no Gulf livery however.)

The car will be available in the United States at a cost of $120,000.
