Sales figures for the
Dodge Challenger were released this past week with most of us around here crossing our fingers hoping sales would continue on the upward swing but that didn't happen. For the month of June Challenger sales were down 742 units from the previous month of May. The one bright spot for Challenger sales this month is they increased more than a 100% from the previous year showing us consumers are taking notice of what the Dodge Challenger has to offer. Incentives and attractive financing offers also aided Challenger sales for the month of June. Check below for a complete breakdown of the numbers.
Sales of the Dodge Challenger for June of 2010 were 3,086 compared to 1,369 from June of 2009 showing a 125% increase in sales from the previous year. Year to date Challenger sales are 17,666 compared to 15,082 for 2009, which is a 17% increase.
Month to Month sales decreased considerably as May 2010 Challenger sales were 3,828 compared to June 2010 sales of 3,086 which is a 24% decrease from the previous month.
Checking out the competition, Camaro sales were 7,540 while the Ford Mustang sold 8,974 units in May. Both competing brands were off from their previous months sales as well so something must be in the air.
For a look back at previous months Challenger sales check out May 2010, April 2010, March 2010, February 2010, January 2010, December 2009, November 2009, October 2009, September 2009, August 2009, July 2009, June 2009, May 2009, April 2009 and February 2008 - February 2009.
