By now I’m sure that many of you have seen the premiere episode of Top Gear’s 15th season. And just in case you haven’t, I won’t give anything away (though you can read Luxury Car Report’s summary here).

It appears that some deleted scenes from James May’s journey to the volcano have made their way onto the interweb for your viewing pleasure. The clip shows May dodging lava rocks as he tests his culinary prowess while attempting to prepare a tasty snack for the crew, complete with the “very evocative flavors and aromas” distinctive of outdoor grilling coupled with “an element of possible horrible death thrown in.” Check out the clip here.
