Hot Wheels Color Shifter Ford Mustang

Hot Wheels has introduced a new line of toy cars dubbed 'Color Shifters' and to promote the cars they have built a full-size Ford Mustang that changes color from blue to white whenever exposed to hot or cold water. The full-size Ford Mustang built by Hot Wheels will be displayed at more than 50 festivals and events across Candada to promote the Color Shifter brand of toy cars. The first stop for the Ford Mustang will be Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto.

"In order to compete with all the innovative stuff that's going on elsewhere, we're able to remain popular because we're grounded in car culture. We also know what boys want. So while we want to add that extra element of innovation, and new types of play, it's also about that classic vehicle play that's at the heart of the brand," says Melissa Chau, Hot Wheels assistant brand manager for Mattel Canada.

This is some truly amazing technology Mattel has come up for their new line of toy cars. Now if we can only convince Ford to apply this to all Ford Mustangs. Could you imagine the possibilities of changing the color of your car by just adding water.
