The Ford Racing Mustang Challenge will give one driver the chance of a lifetime to get behind the wheel of an FR500S Mustang and compete at the season-finale Mustang Challenge race at Miller Motorsports Park on September 11th. BFGoodrich Tires and the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge are teaming up for the "Mustang Challenge Driver Shootout" to offer a driver the opportunity to make a life changing move to the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge race series.

All racers who wish to enter this competition must be 18 years of age and hold a valid race license in either SCCA, NASA, or ASN-FIA Kart. Also racers entering must not have any pro racing starts on their resume. To enter the contest you have to upload a video demonstrating why you would be a good candidate to race in the Mustang Challenge series. Videos can be posted on BFGoodrich's Nation of Go, YouTube or any video site of their choice. Better act quick because entries will only be accepted up until August 1st. From all video submissions received the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge will select five entrants as final contestants.

Once the five contestants are selected the competition officially begins as all finalists will travel to Miller Motorsports Park and receive training at the Ford Racing High Performance Driving School. The five contestants will be put through a battery of exercises in and out of a Ford Mustang all the while being evaluated by a panel of judges. In the end one racer will have to impress the judges with not their times but also their skills on the track. One winner will be selected to compete in the season-finale race at Miller Motorsports Park.
