2011 RTR Mustang
Ford has tapped the expertise of Vaughn Gittin Jr. to offer the Mustang RTR package, a dealer installed performance and appearance package for the
2011 Ford Mustang. The Mustang RTR package is geared toward a new generation of Mustang buyers lured in by Vaughn's success on the Formula Drift series. The RTR package offers performance upgrades in the form of unique Mustang RTR 19x9.5-inch wheels with Falken FK452 rubber, Ford Racing tune, K&N filter, Ford Racing mufflers and a Ford Racing handling pack. The added modifications to the 5.0-liter V8 are good for an extra nine horsepower which should come in handy on the street or at the track.
For the exterior a chin spoiler with splitter, rocker splitters, a rear diffuser and aluminum rear spoiler add to the already aerodynamic body of the 2011 Mustang GT. A special Mustang RTR stripe scheme gives this car a uniqueness all its own. The interior receives special RTR-exclusive floor mats, shifter knob and emblems. The package will run you $7,895 and is available on most of the factory Mustang colors. Ford also plans to offer the RTR package on V6 Mustangs later this year.
