2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Those of us that frequent the Internet may be a bit jaded to manifestos, however awesome they may be, but Jeep's first TV ad for the 2011 Grand Cherokee shows promise. Centered around the tag line, "The things we make, make us," the video ties the new Grand Cherokee to what made, and makes, America great.

Whether the new Grand Cherokee will stand up to the pressure of the marketplace, let alone Jeep's high expectations for the vehicle, remains to be proven. But considering the strong, bold new look and push for high-quality interior elements, it may well be up to the task.

You, the buyer, will be the judge. Let us know what you think about Jeep's new manifesto below, and stay tuned for our own first-drive take on the SUV soon.

  1. So stoked for this new Grand Cherokee! I especially liked the little fishtail part in the video at about 43 seconds!

    Bad stuff?

  2. I'm not a fan of ads that try and sell a car on anything other than the car's merits. To me this ad is aimed the ONLY Americans and then only the people that are simple enough to believe the BS that the ad tells you. Lets see what the vehicle actually delivers with out the propaganda.
The second point, has Jeep not seen the writing on the wall that these big, heavy gas guzzlers are on their way out?
