The 2011 Chevrolet Camaro has got some tough competition, since the 2011 Mustang came on the scene. Ford’s offering has now outsold the Camaro for the first time since GM brought their revived their pony car to the market.

Edmunds Inside Line is reporting that the Camaro is getting a slight price increase for its better equipped models than the base models.

The base V-6 model, the 1LS, remains at $23,350. The 2LT model, which comes with a leather interior, the center console gauges, navigation, Bluetooth, USB port and 19 inch wheels, comes in at $28,750 which a $350 increase from 2010.

The V-8 equipped 1SS, the closest thing to a stripper V-8 Camaro, also remains at the 2010 price at $31,795. The 2SS, which comes with the same special equipment of the 2LT, but with SS embroidering in the interior and 20 inch wheels, also gets a $350 increase to $35,145.

Also it’s being reported that the Camaro will be getting an exclusive 2011-year only paint color called Synergy Green, which also includes color matched stitching in the interior.
