A grand farewell is a rarity in the auto industry, as the next new thing sweeps its predecessor--however great it may have been--aside. Such a fate is likely for the aging Ferrari 612 Scaglietti as it is due for replacement with an all-new grand tourer for 2012. But Novitec Rosso is giving it a send-off with a new tuned model good for 560 horsepower and sub-four-second 0-60 mph times.

The power boost comes from an ECU upgrade that also boosts torque to 450 pound-feet. That's a total gain of 30 horsepower and 16 pound-feet--not earth-shaking, but enough to notice behind the wheel. The power gain pushes the top speed just above 200 mph as well.

Of course, Novitec Rosso isn't content to leave the car with just some invisible power upgrades, so there's a host of exterior and interior appearance modifications, including 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, a fully custom interior in any customer-chosen color, plus a range of materials to choose from and a custom steering wheel.

Special requests are also possible, leaving customization of the Novitec Rosso 612 Scaglietti open to almost limitless creativity.
