1969 Shelby Trans Am Mustang
Anytime you have the opportunity to own a piece of
Ford Mustang history you should jump at the chance to purchase it but this time you may want to exercise caution as it will cost you a cool $1.1 million dollars for the 1969 Shelby Trans Am Mustang Boss 302 driven by Dan Gurney. Don't get me wrong this Shelby Trans Am Mustang driven by Dan Gurney has some extensive history but is it worth the million dollar price tag. The car which is said to be the prototype for all the Trans Am Mustangs driven that year was built by Kar Kraft for Carroll Shelby's team. The car was also driven in several race-series recording its best finish of fourth at Laguna Seca in 1969. It was also used in wind-tunnel testing and won an SCCA title during its career.
In 2003 the Mustang received a complete restoration back to its original 1969 condition complete with a 302 engine pumping out 527 horsepower.
As of writing this it has 4 days and change left on the buy it now of $1.1 million dollars. Check out the Ebay auction here.
