Hennessey Performance has just elevated their game to a whole new level with the introduction of the HPE1000 Camaro tuner package. The HPE1000 offers a 1,000 horsepower twin-turbo upgrade to your Camaro SS for a mere $65,000 in under eight weeks. The package has been given the code name "The Big Bad American Wolf" for obvious reasons as this is one of the most insane tuner packages available on the market today.

How do they get to the 1,000 horsepower figure you might ask, well Hennessey starts with the 7.0-liter LSX V-8 and than adds a pair of turbochargers and air-to-air intercoolers, forged pistons, rods and crank. A set of high-flow heads, custom cam, reworked intake manifold, larger fuel system and 3-inch stainless steel exhaust round out the major additions. Handling the 900 pound-feet of torque will be no small task so Hennessey adds a beefed up six-speed transmission with twin-disc clutch, an optional heavy-duty six-speed automatic is also available.
