The Aston Martin One-77 is an exclusive car, with only 77 to be produced to customers at about $1.5 million each. Now Fox News is reporting that, thanks to one customer’s order, it’s going to get even more exclusive.

The One-77 I was originally a concept car that debuted at the Paris Motor Show. The car features a full carbon fiber monocoque chassis with aluminum body panels, yet comes in at 3,307 pounds. It’s powered by a 7.3L V-12, speculated to produce over 700hp, and shifted by a six-speed, semi-automatic manual gearbox. It will also feature one staple of all modern supercars are Carbon Ceramic brakes. Top speed is said to reach about 220 miles an hour and 0-60 time of 3.5 seconds.

The customer’s name or where he lives wasn’t given. The only details given as that they will be delivered to somewhere in the Middle East, and that each car will feature different exterior and interior color schemes.

Educated Speculation points the finger to the Sultan of Brunei. The sultan has the largest car collection in the world. He’s a big Aston Martin fan too, having over 75 different Astons in his collection.

  1. Explain to me again where the profits from oil production, a global natural resource, go?

  3. There's just one problem with that theory. Brunei isn't in the Middle East. It's farther away from the Middle East than England is.

  5. Your speculation as to the buyer would in fact appear to be "uneducated". If the buyer wanted the cars delivered to the middle east, it would probably not be the Sultan of Brunei. Brunei is in Asia, right next door to Malaysia.
