January’s 2010 Detroit Auto Show was an event to remember. With tons of groundbreaking technology and designs released, the atmosphere was simply out of this world. A variety of different European vehicles hit the floor with instant fame, but can we declare a winner for the 2010 Detroit Auto Show’s Best Euro Vehicle?
Whether you are a fan of cars that can perform on the streets or luxurious sedans, it seemed that the Europeans had something new and truly astonishing in every genre. From the stylish 2011 Audi A8 to the exotic Lotus Exige S260, there was a newly released car for every person’s desire in the venue.
Some of the most loved Euro vehicles at the venue were the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Audi A8, Lotus Exige S260, and the BMW 740i. And although it’s not a European brand car, Ford also unveiled the new Fiesta, which is European-styled with its small engine, frame, and overall look. With a starting price of less than $15,000, it’s only expected that people will be lining up for the vehicle due to its low cost and the low auto insurance costs that will go along with it.
But if one would have to pinpoint a true winner at the show, the Audi A8 should come out on top. With the BMW 7-Series and Mercedes-Benz S Class, Audi had to stick their foot out in something a bit unfamiliar to them, and the company did an incredible job with their reveal of the new A8.
