Considered one of the best racing games ever created, Gran Turismo has been in the Playstation family for nearly a decade. Its first release was on the original Playstation, and with its incredible story and graphics of the time, it wowed gamers.
Following its four predecessors on the Playstation and Playstation 2, Gran Turismo 5 will be released sometime in November of 2010. The date has yet to be set, but it’s anticipated to hold its undeclared position as the best racing game ever created.
A common complaint that gamers had to offer the developer was the license tests that one had to pass in order to be eligible for specific races. After hearing the discontent from an ever-growing number of gamers, it’s expected that Gran Turismo 5 will discontinue that practice and allow gamers to race most of the cars right off the bat.
But despite the fact that its competitor, Forza Motorsports, has made it so gamers don’t have to work through hours of the game to drive the best of the best cars, Gran Turismo 5 will stick to its guns and force gamers to work from the bottom up.
Sony recently released its list of 340-plus cars, whose cost and auto insurance premiums are unimaginable, which will be featured in the game. Developers will continue to make cars and will make them available after the initial release.
