Things are looking up for the Dodge Challenger as it has set a new monthly sales record with April sales.  Not to long ago it was doom and gloom for Challenger sales but in 2010 we have seen a resurgence in sales that have increased month over month since January.  What can we attribute this uptick in sales to, well for starters I would say availability and variety at dealerships.  As Challengers start to grow in numbers at dealerships across the country customers now have the opportunity to see all the colors and various models.  Incentives and special APR rates may also be driving sales along with the announcement of the $2,000 Mopar Bonus Bucks program for anyone who purchases a Challenger.  Whatever the factors may be I hope they continue to drive sales for this well built vehicle.  Check below for a complete breakdown of Challenger sales.

Sales of the Dodge Challenger for April of 2010 were 3,713 compared to 2,619 from April of 2009 showing a 42% increase in sales from the previous year. Year to date Challenger sales are 10,752 compared to 11,018 for 2009, which is a 2% decrease.

Month to Month sales increased as March 2010 Challenger sales were 3,211 compared to April 2010 sales of 3,713 which is a 16% increase from the previous month.

Checking out the competition, Camaro sales were 7,830 while the Ford Mustang sold 5,145 in January.

For previous months of Challenger sales check out March 2010, February 2010, January 2010, December 2009, November 2009, October 2009, September 2009, August 2009, July 2009, June 2009, May 2009, April 2009 and February 2008 -  February 2009.

  1. If Chrysler would do something about all those dealerships with there $2 to $10K marks up they could sell a lot more cars.

    Bad stuff?

  2. I want an SE model-but 23K plus for one is outrageous. I'd pay in a heartbeat 21K and I'm sure some other people would also. love this car, never had a muscle car either, but this beast is all me.

  3. We got our SE in January for $22.5, only option was the Torred paint. They come standard with tons of stuff you couldn't even get 15 years ago.
