Mainstream advertising for the 2011 Ford Mustang is underway as Ford airs the first television commercial on American Idol results show.  We will probably start seeing a lot more advertising as 2011 Mustangs are just making it to Ford dealerships across the country.  The commercial was all about the 2011 Mustang V-6 highlighting its 31 MPG and 305 Horsepower ratings.  The commercial actually got my blood pumping and I have to give props to Ford for how well put together it was.  The music track did not hurt either as Light Of The Morning by Band Of Skulls really set a tone for the commercial.  Check out the video below and let us know your thoughts in the comments.

    Looks good. Have seen quite a few manufacturers 2011 driving around Okemos. Why would I want a V6 over my V8 , 2006 GT ?

    I love the music... it has a retro sound to me, reminding me of Cream, and it fits a classic car like the Mustang.
