In autumn of 1898, Albert De Dion, an innovator in the motor industry, held the first auto event called the Paris Motor Show. For over a half century, the Motor Show was held on an annual basis until 1976 when it was announced that it would be held bi-annually in the years to come. Seeing that the last show was held in 2008, this year we can expect nothing less than an outstanding reveal of incredible cars and concepts.

Spectators at the show aren’t your average person concerned about auto insurance rates and the rising gasoline prices. Most events are attended by high-income businessmen who are interested in either purchasing one of the latest and best vehicles in the industry, or making high dollar decisions on how to best utilize vehicles in their company.

The 2010 Paris Motor Show will take place in the Paris Expo from October 2nd through the 17th. If you’re interested in attending, the admission cost is only $15 and gives you nearly two weeks worth of access to the incredible show.

In past shows, major innovations in the industry seem to come to life, and 2010 is not expected to come up short. With groundbreaking reveals that focus on energy efficiency with electricity, bio-fuel, hydrogen and fuel cell technology, 2010 will be a landmark year in the Paris Motor Show history. Car enthusiasts proclaim that if you could only attend the show only once in your whole life, this is the year to be there.
