Chrysler has released Dodge Challenger sales numbers for the month of March and to say I am surprised would be an understatement as sales increased by over a thousand units from the previous month showing healthy demand for the Challenger as the first quarter comes to a close.  Comparing Challenger sales to other Chrysler products which it outsold include the Caliber, Avenger, Nitro, Jeep Commander, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Compass.  A full breakdown of March sales including how well the competition fared is below.

Sales of the Dodge Challenger for March of 2010 were 3,211 compared to 2,359 from March of 2009 showing a 36% increase in sales from the previous year. Year to date Challenger sales are 7,039 compared to 8,399 for 2009, which is a 16% decrease.

Month to Month sales increased substantially as February 2010 Challenger sales were 2,145 compared to March 2010 sales of 3,211 which is a 50% increase from the previous month.

Checking out the competition, Camaro sales were 8,904 while the Ford Mustang sold 5,829 in January.

For previous months of Challenger sales check out February 2010, January 2010, December 2009, November 2009, October 2009, September 2009, August 2009, July 2009, June 2009, May 2009, April 2009 and February 2008 -  February 2009.

    Bad stuff?

  2. I might see a Challenger on the road during my drive to and from work, which is a 26 mile trip one way. But I bet I pass at least 20 Mustangs! I like having something different. Tired of the same 'ole same 'ole. So glad the Challenger came back and I was able to get one!

  3. I would love a Dodge Challenger but they are a little on the pricey side.
I see Chrysler employees can add up to 6 friends and get the employee discount. If I could be added by someone e-mail me at nizzzy12@aol.com
