Two-time Formula Drift champion Samuel Hubintte will return for the 2010 Formula Drift season with a brand new
2010 Dodge Challenger packed with a 410-ci Mopar USAC Sprint Car engine pumping out 810 horsepower and 690 pound-feet of torque on Methanol. The new Challenger will run under the newly formed Samuel Hubbintte Racing team supported by Dodge and BFGoodrich. The 2010 Challenger was being built at a feverish pace at ES Motorsports in Riverside, CA by SHR's crew chief, Brad Manka to make the March 27th Formula Drift tech inspection. Manka is no newby to Formula drift as he maintained the Nuformz Viper during the 2008-09 Formula Drift seasons. The 2010 Challenger will open the 2010 Formula Drift season April 9-10 in Long Beach, CA.
The picture above plus the ones below were taken March 23rd so as you can see the Challenger had a long way to go to be completed but I am sure they finished and made the tech inspection.
