Over on TheMustangSource.com site owner Brad Barnett has put up for auction his Supercharged 2006 Mustang GT
convertible dubbed "Project Source Horse". This convertible Mustang was the sites first Project Car started back in 2006 when the car was purchased new by Brad. After acquiring the Mustang GT convertible Brad added a laundry list of modifications from various manufacturers and distributors over the years including a Vortech Supercharger & intercooler, BBS
Ford GT wheels, Baer 14-inch brakes & 6-piston calipers, light bar, custom interior, touchscreen dvd navigation, Kicker audio system, autometer gauges, painted engine covers, Chip Foose hood and many more mods. The Mustang boats 467 rear-wheel horsepower from it's Vortech supercharged 4.6-liter V-8 engine. The Mustang was a daily driver for Brad as it has around 36K miles on the clock.
'Project Source Horse' is estimated to have $60,000 worth of aftermarket modifications installed on the Mustang GT convertible. As is the case with most project cars the owner will be happy to get back a fraction of what is actually in the car so this might be your chance to own a very heavily modified car at a reduced price.
As of writing this bidding has reached $19,600 but expect it to go much higher with the amount of money invested in the car. For a complete list of mods, photos and more details check out the Ebay auction here.
