GM Workers get Award for Camaro Commercial

To boost moral within General Motors after going through the unfortunate bankruptcy they put together a contest for employees to come up with the best commercial featuring a GM vehicle.  The company sponsored contest was a chance for employees who were frustrated with the current ad campaign to come up with their own.

Entering the contest were forty-seven teams from across the company and the winning team was a group of engineers and managers from the Romulus Engine Plant and Warren Tech Center.  The team had about two weeks to put together their idea and shoot the commercial which ended up being a metaphor -- the Chevrolet Camaro as a Shark.  The video titled "Play Nice" shows a Camaro driving a parking garage looking for a space when an inferior car slides into the spot the Camaro is waiting on.  The Camaro than mimics a Shark and eats the car with the final scene showing the Camaro spitting out the cars license plate.

You can view the winning commercial below.
