G5 Posey Challenger

It has been a few years since we have talked about this magnificent custom built Challenger but now it can be yours. The "G5 Posey Challenger" was built as a tribute to Dodge and Trans Am Racing History along with commemorateing Sam Posey's #77 T/A Challenger from the 70's as it raced on the Trans Am racing circuit. With Mr. Posey's blessing his 70's T/A Challenger was recreated by Group Five using a new 2008 Dodge Challenger as the platform. The #77 G5 Posey Challenger features a custom Psycho-Sublime Green and Black paint job with an array of suspension and performance modifications including a 500 horsepower Vortech supercharged engine.

Some of the goodies found on this vehicle include 19-inch Fikse racing wheels with Toyo tires, Katzkin leather seats, roll cage, stainless steel headers and Eibach lowering springs. The Posey Challenger was featured at the 2008 SEMA show along with racing at the 24 hours of Lemans the last three years.
