Ghost Challenger
Broward County Sheriff's Department in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida have added another
Dodge Challenger to it's ever growing fleet of more than 200 Dodge Chargers and several high-performance Challengers. We previously wrote about a
Forest Green Challenger R/T that was added to the force back in November and this time they have added a Challenger dubbed "Ghost" for obvious reasons as it has a stealth appearance to it. The "Ghost" Challenger has the appearance of just about any other Challenger from a distance but once you get closer you can see the hidden light and siren package along with the Broward County Sheriff graphics on each side of the vehicle. Among the features included with this Challenger include front and rear radar systems, a higher top speed, and a Mopar Cold Air Intake system for improved performance and gas mileage. The Challenger is driven by Deputy Tom Sheridan who said adding this to it's Aggresive Driving Enforcement unit was a no brainer.
If you are in and around Broward County be on the lookout for not just this "Ghost Challenger" but a fleet of high-powered Challengers who are looking for speeders.
