Alfa Romeo is planning a barrage of boutique-designed cars for the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, with three different concepts coming. The first is the Pininfarina-designed Spider, and now the second is out--the Stile Bertone Alfa Romeo Pandion coupe concept.

So far all we have are these leaked images, but the aggressive and enticing grille lead into what is certainly a very fluid and fast-moving design. Details on the car's underpinnings are still vague, but it's rumored to be based on the rear-wheel drive Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, ensuring brisk, if not stellar, performance.

The concept is, unfortunately, only expected to be a prototype for future designs, however, and not anything with a retail production future, though some of the influences may eventually appear in a replacement for the Alfa Romeo Brera sports coupe. Still, incorporating new takes on classic Alfa Romeo themes bodes well for the Chrysler-Alfa Romeo tie-up, as Alfa cars are expected to see sales in the U.S. branded as Chryslers. Americans might yet be wary of the Italian's return to the U.S. market, but such expressive designs will go a long way to winning over converts.

Stay tuned for the full details from the Geneva Motor Show once it kicks off at the beginning of March.
