Coming from the factory the 2010 Shelby GT500 has 540 horsepower and for most Mustang enthusiasts that would be more than enough power to play with but not so for Lethal Performance who has taken their GT500 to the next level.  That level is somewhere between ridiculous and insane as they have just recently managed to lay down a 9-second quarter mile in their 2010 Shelby GT500.  To be specific their 2010 GT500 ran a 9.66 second quarter-mile @ 146.19 miles per hour.  How did they get there you might ask, well their 2010 Shelby GT500 uses a 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger that produces 21.5 psi of boost along with the needed suspension upgrades and an automatic transmission.  Check out the video below and watch a hair raising 9-second run.

    Bad stuff?

  2. Just to clarify we're running the factory 6 speed manual transmission with a Mcleod RXT twin disc clutch. I believe why many people mistake the car for having an auto because our driver bangs gears like no other. That's why he's 3X Champ!
