Back in November we learned the newly formed Petty's Garage behind the legacy of Richard Petty and his 61-year-old company Petty Enterprises would begin producing performance automobiles. The first car from the historic garage was a
2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 painted in legendary Petty Blue with a 426 Hemi by Arrington engines pumping out 585 horsepower. This car was recently auctioned off at the 2010 Barrett-Jackson collector car auction where it brought $130,000 with proceeds from the auction benefiting the Petty Family Foundation and the charities it supports which include the Victory Junction Gang and Paralyzed Veterans of America.
