Back in September we wrote about Berger Chevrolet and how they are continuing the tradition of building a 'Camaro Supercar' as they did in the 60's with the likes of Yenko, Dana, Nickey and Baldwin Chevrolet.  To this day Berger Chevrolet is the only dealership still in existence who built dragstrip ready Camaros back in the 60's and who will continue that tradition with their new Camaro SS Supercar.

The Berger Edition Camaro will use the 2010 Camaro 2SS RS model package as a starting point for modifications which include a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 550 horsepower engine, stainless steel cat-back system, 20-inch Forgeline 3-piece wheels with Pirelli rubber, Revised suspension, custom painted rally stripes and black out tail panel, Hurst shifter and the list goes on.  All Berger Camaros will recieve a special serialized numbered dash plaque and fitted Berger car cover.

Cost for the Berger Camaro package will run you $19,994 plus the price of a 2010 Camaro SS.  Berger will produce twenty Camaros and one prototype for the 2010 model year of which they say half are already spoken for.  Below I have posted photos of the official release with all the information.
