Hall of Fame baseball player and noted car collector Reggie Jackson is auctioning off one of his prized vehicles from his classic car collection.  The vehicle is an original unmolested 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T 426 Hemi 4-speed with 398 actual miles.  The plum crazy purple Challenger is a numbers matching original survivor that has been very well taken care while in his personal car collection.  The Challenger runs and drives like the day it was built and it's listed in Chrysler's registry.  This has to be one of the lowest mileage 1970 Dodge Challengers in existance and it can be yours if you have the funds.  As of writing this bidding has made it up to $100K but expect this to command are far greater price.  Check out the auction here.

  1. Power comes from a 5.7L HEMI V8 that sits under a raised performance hood with functional hood scoops that increase engine cooling. It produces a total of 376-hp with a maximum torque of 410 lb-ft. Mated to a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission the Challenger R/T Classic can go from 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds.
