If you own a Ferrari 355 or Ferrari 355 F1, then it might be worth a quick phone call to schedule a service appointment at your local factory authorized exotic car dealership. Otherwise, you might be risking owning a wrecked exotic.

Here's the scoop.

There's a recall list issued [circa 2009] that indicates your favorite exotic car may require service department attention from Ferrari certified master technicians at your local factory authorized Ferrari dealership.

According to a US Recall News report issued November 21, the following Ferrari cars may have a fairly serious problem with improperly installed screw clamps that requires attention.

Failure to address the issue may result in engine damage, smoke (that could impair vision), fire, and as a result [potentially] a fatal crash.

If you own one of the vehicles in question, contact your local Ferrari Dealer to verify whether or not your exotic car should be scheduled for immediate service. Repairs are expected to commence before the holidays in December 2009.
