Muscle car builder SpeedFactory will introduce the first all-aluminum 440 Hemi-powered Dodge Challenger next week at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.  The specially prepared SpeedFactory 2009 Challenger SRT8 is powered by a bored and stroked 6.1-liter Hemi Mopar aluminum block with CNC ported Mopar aluminum heads and a complete forged rotating assembly.  The power adder of choice for this Challenger is a Vortech V3 centrifugal supercharger which boosts power output to 700 horsepower on pump gas.

The laundry list of Performance modifications from SpeedFactory include Mopar performance NAG 1 transmission, Mopar performance fuel rails, Moroso coolant tank and oil pan, Getrag IRS with 1000 hp half-shafts, Corsa stainless steel cat back exhaust system, performance springs, sway bars, strut tower braces, 15-inch Brembo 6 piston front disc brakes and 20-inch BBS Black Edition CH-R flow formed wheels with Bridgestone Potenza rubber.

If you think this Challenger SRT8 is all motor think again as SpeedFactory has put their signature touch on the interior with a package that includes logo-embossed seat backs, matching door panel stripe with logo, custom floor mats, Mopar door sills and T-handle shifter.

The exterior of the car features a race-inspired matte-finish with full carbon fiber hood and rear deck spoiler.  SpeedFactory signature badging and graphics round out this dream ride.

This Challenger will be on display at Mopar booth #43127 during the SEMA show (Nov 3-6).

  1. Looks like an everyday Challenger from the exterior but has 700 hp - that's nice. Simple.

    Bad stuff?

  2. That's a nicely integrated water to air intercooler ...
I don't know what to think... a V3 , probably giving tiny boost on a massive 7.1 Liter, I'd hate to see what happens when someone decides to toss out the V3 for a bigger Vortech and turn up the boost... ??? 1400 HP ?
