At the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas next week Ford Motor Company will take center stage as the featured automaker. This time around Ford will have their most iconic brand well represented with a host of customized 2010 Mustangs.

Among the Mustangs on hand will be the 2010 Boy Racer by 3dCarbon, 2010 widebody Mustang by Galpin Auto Sports with 550-horsepower, 2010 Mustang by H&R Special Springs, 2010 Mustang drag car by Paul's High Performance, the 2010 Steeda Q350, 2010 Mustang by Street Scene Equipment, 2010 Mustang RTR from Vaughn Gittin Jr. and a 2010 Mustang built with Ford Custom Accessories.  These Mustangs are just a handful of custom rides you can expect to see at the 2009 SEMA.

“The Mustang is an iconic car,” said Melvin Betancourt, Ford SEMA design manager. “People always want to reinvent it, and everybody has an idea about what the next Mustang should be.”

There is no denying the Mustangs icon status as it's the most customized car in the aftermarket industry today.  This year should be exciting as it's the first year the refreshed 2010 Mustang gets made over.

  2. There was a 65/66 custom fastback, white with black strips and boss on the fenders. It was tubbed and slammed. BEAUTIFUL! Any idea who built it. It was parked outside. Thanks
