Bugatti Veyron Complete With F1 Numberplate Makes Debut

The worlds most expensive Bugatti Veyron, complete with F1 numberplate, is destined to be one of the highlights of next month's MPH prestige and performance auto show in the UK.


The car belongs to Afzal Kahn, the figure behind bespoke tuning firm Project Kahn and the same man who bought the exclusive F1 numberplate last year for the princely sum of £440,625 ($721,743).

If ever the phrase if you need to ask the price, you cant afford it was appropriate its now, but at the right price the car could be up for sale, according to Kahn.

Kahn is hoping that his soft white 253 mph supercar catches the eye of newly crowned Formula One champion Jenson Button since it features the most expensive number plate sold in the UK.

Capable of catapulting the driver to 62 mph from rest in less than three seconds, past 100 mph in 5.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 253 mph, this particular Bugatti Veyron has no close modern rivals in terms of price tags.

Other cars that come close and are also set to appear at the MPH event include the unique GTbyCitroen concept car, several models from Pagani and Koenigsegg, as well as a Ferrari FXX.

    C'mon Bugatti, MAKE A NEW CAR ALREADY.
    How many limited edition veyrons are there already? Must be approaching at least 20 different kinds.
    And by the way, your top speed has already been beat so maybe focus your time on that? The veyron is nothing special anymore.

    The top speed of the Veyron has been beaten, but this car is still significant. There are no other cars that are as flexible as it is. You won't see many people driving an Ultimate Aero SSC as an everyday driver. Ive see a few people driving veyrons around town.

    I dont get it, what makes this Veyron special besides the license plate? and how stupid is it to spend almost a million bucks on a vanity plate. whooopdeeedooo, youre a DOUCHE with money, yay for you.

    It always makes me laugh when people bash this car. Having photographed several of them now I can this.
    The build quality is astounding, the performance not of this world, and the technology involved to produce this creature is something only a few companies if only one can afford to develop....
    There is not a single car on sale currently that does all three of the above in a flawlees manner. The Ultimate Aero may beat it on top speed but thats all. The build quality is that of Stevie Wonder standards, the interior generates a great game of "Can you guess which car that came from" and finally there is not a single piece of technology in that car that moves the game forward. Sure I can go fishing with a 12gauge but fly fishing is so much more technical.....
    I highly doubt they will shift 300 such as Bugatti has. Also the technology involved takes time to develop. Their sedan will be out shortly and I'm sure a new super car is behind that. I will even go as far to say that their next super car will move the bar yet again

    Nothing comes close to this car. But, if they tout their top speed frequently, someone will try to dethrone them. Don't brag if you don't want kicked...
    As far as the numbertag, it's almost disgusting to think about the level of arcane stupidity required...

    It costs volkswagen 5-6 million dollars to build one bugatti, it's sold at about 1.4 million. What other company in this time period can suffer that loss? certainly not Ferrari or Chevrolet.

    i am with a true battle , it is Bugatti Veyron Vs Formula 1 car. No doubt the bugatti veyron is the fastest , powerfulest car , but will it win the battle
