The sales numbers are in for September and again the
Chevrolet Camaro has outsold the refreshed
2010 Ford Mustang and the Dodge Challenger. This makes the fourth straight month the Camaro has beaten out the Mustang who by all means has been the leader in this category for a long time. No time in history has the Camaro outsold the Mustang for two straight months let alone four. Expect this trend to continue until Chevrolet has filled all the orders for Camaro buyers.
Sales of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro for September of 2009 were 7,961 compared to 8,680 from the previous month showing a 8% decrease in month-to-month sales. Year to date Camaro sales are 39,151.
The Ford Mustang sold 4,917 and the Dodge Challenger sold 1,778 for September.
If you are looking for previous Camaro sales figures check out August 2009, July 2009, June 2009, and May 2009 sales.
