The folks over at Mopar Muscle Magazine have had in their possession a
2009 Dodge Challenger R/T for several months and while they have enjoyed the Challenger thoroughly one thing notably missing is a healthier sounding exhaust. Already agreeing the exhaust note is just a little to quiet for them, they decide from a list of specific factors to install a high-flowing stainless steel cat-back system from Magnaflow. The Magnaflow exhaust system contains Magnaflow's Tru-X crossover system with free-flowing mufflers and comes in 2.5-inch stainless steel with mandrel bends. The hangers come pre-installed for ease of installation into the factory rubber exhaust hangers. You also receive all the necessary clamps needed for the install. Not satisfied with the classic dual-tip look the Mopar Muscle guys decided to go with the Quad-tip system.
As someone who has owned and installed Magnaflow exhaust before on a few vehicles I can attest to the quality and workmanship Magnaflow provides. I have purchased other exhaust systems in the past and none have come close to the quality of Magnaflow. Yes the sound is a little softer than others but you get a distinct exhaust note which you know is Magnaflow.
Getting back to the exhaust install the guys over at Mopar Muscle used a lift which cut install time down to 2-3 hours. It can be done on the ground with jackstands but allow for a few more hours depending on your skill level.

Thanks for all the information you post here. Couple of questions . . . would the installation of a Magnaflow Exhaust void the warranty? I know the installation in the article was on 2009, would it work on a 2010 model? I should be getting by B5 Classic (manual, sunroof and Mopar Interior) around Halloween.
Thanks in advance.
