Back in May Cervini's Auto Designs successfully launched their Shaker Hood System for the Dodge Challenger and now they have available a fully functional Ram Air kit.  The Cervini's Ram Air kit is made specifically for the 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter Hemi Challengers.  The Ram Air kit is designed to utilize the R/T and SRT8 factory hood by installing to the underside of the hood.    In the kit you will receive a fiberglass insert for the underside of your hood, K&N Filter and chrome filter plate.  Cervini's says you will experience increased throttle response and horsepower gains from 40 mph to 70 mph.  The Ram Air kit will set you back a mild $299.  As of writing this no dyno figures have been posted but expect them to be arriving soon.

  1. I sure would like to see a air flow meter test between this setup and normal CAI and the OEM intake. I get a feeling you will get much less air flow from this setup.

  3. You might be right, but you are still drawing in air from below. Looking at the design, the air passages seem to be deep with no sharp turns, I geuss I'll find out soon, I just purchased one and we are hoping that I will beable to use my Carbon Fiber CAI instead of the stock one, if I can't, then we will set it up as per the instructions, It looks like it will help out once you are moving, I'll send some pics when we are done installing it.

Have you installed this system yet. I'm still considering but was looking forward to your feedback. What is your verdict?
