As with all AMG Mercedes models, this pricey coupe requires expensive routine maintenance. While this coupe is pretty to look at, it has a steeper depreciation curve than the AMG S-Class, SL-convertible and E-class because those models are either more popular or more practical. AMG models also depreciate more heavily because owners often times abuse these sporty Mercedes models. And who wouldnt with that much power?

Insurance rates are also astronomical and even lease rates are affected by their low resale value. If you want this coupe it will really cost you all the way through your ownership experience. If you are going to spend this much money on a car with insane horsepower readings you would be much wiser to invest in something more exotic that will hold its value better over the long term.
