Expensive accessories, unique colors and premium materials - whether it's fashion or automotive, the formula for luxury is the same. The latest collaboration between the two fields comes from Hyundai and Prada, with the unveiling of the Hyundai Genesis Prada in Seoul yesterday.

Prada's treatment of the Hyundai Genesis Sedan lends a healthy dose of credibility to the Korean carmaker's bid to be recognized as a legitimate luxury brand as well. With its 20in alloy wheels, special saffiano leather and prada-designed body work, the Genesis Prada is more than just an upholstery job.

A unique shade of metallic midnight blue was employed to bring out the Genesis' character lines, which Prada enhanced with titanium metal and dark matte plated gold elements including the grille, emblem and exterior door handles.

Inside, the car gets further upgrades to bring the materials and build quality up even further than the already-impressive standard vehicle, including wood grain paneling and gold-plated details.

    Saabfan, a car is only as g4y as the person driving it. :)

    I mean if you have to drive around in a Hummer just to prove to everyone how straight you are, then chances you yourself aren't confident enough in the fact that you're not ***.

    I feel confident enough in my sexual orientation that I wouldn't have any problems driving a pink Miata while being straight.

    *** is not a synonym for stupid, ok... if you want to say it looks stupid, dont be a lazy piece of **** and type the extra 3 letters.

    I personally think the interior looks amazing, the paint looks very nice and matches perfectly with the interior. I would definetly drive this without worrying about my sexuality.

    Well, that sure brought out the mob. Talk about political correctness. I drive a laser red Saab 93 aero which to some of you think that's a girl or feminine type of car. I re-typed because my three words got xxx out. Enough with the name calling you lazy piece of turd.

    Who cares, only s snob will be interested in such a car, I mean, u should be interested in how good a car is, and how it looks , not if it's a fashion house special edition.

    All the alterations for this edition are purely aesthetic, there is no upgrade under the bonnet, which to me make the upgrades unnecessary but it does the job of elevating the Hyundai name to luxury status.

    We must also remember that we are seeing it thru the eyes of Americans. South Koreans dont see the same ***ness that Mr Saabfan sees.
