Ousted Kolles returns to F3

Nov.21 (GMM) Ousted Force India team boss Colin Kolles has set up a team to compete in next year's Formula 3 Euroseries.

The outfit, called Kolles and Heinz Union, is a collaboration with Nick Heidfeld's outgoing driver manager, Werner Heinz.

Kolles and Heinz Union will field two cars in 2009.

41-year-old Kolles, a trained dentist, entered formula one when Midland bought out Jordan at the end of 2004. He remained with the team during its subsequent guises as Spyker and Force India.

He has concurrently been involved in Germany's touring car series DTM.

Kolles has also previously owned and run teams in the F3 Euroseries, a junior single seater category.
