Lamborghini's Reventon supercar is one of the most exclusive cars on the planet, with just 20 examples produced by the Italian marque. This week, Lamborghini announced that the final Reventon had been delivered, this time to a customer in Britain who was "understandably delighted".

A British sales manager for Lamborghini's dealership in Birmingham accompanied the customer to the Sant'Agata factory near Bologna, where Lamborghini's president and CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, personally presented the Reventon.

The buyer, who wished to remain anonymous, said that he was committed to driving his car rather than simply garaging it, so the last example may well be seen throughout Britain at Lamborghini, motorsport and social events.

Lamborghini's Reventon, which has a V12 engine outputting around 650hp (485kW) and a top speed in excess of 211mph, has captured the public's attention with its stunning styling and performance prowess. Lamborghini claims that all the Reventon supercars were sold prior to its public reveal in September 2007, but some of the purchasers have since sold the car on for hefty premiums.

Back in October we reported that a Reventon owned by ex-professional footballer Hugh McAuley was for sale in the UK and then in January this year news came out reporting that Connecticut firm Putnam Leasing has one available for loan.

Another anonymous customer was also selling his Reventon for €1,590,000 (approximately $2,344,000), suggesting that the cars could still be available for some time to come.
